2014 ETFO MOU Task Force on Health and Safety
The ETFO MOU Task Force on Health and Safety was negotiated by ETFO as part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the provincial government in June of 2013.
The Task Force researched and described six issues that are leading health and safety concerns for ETFO members. Twenty-one recommendations were developed to deal with those issues.
2017 Extension Agreement for Teachers/OT
Includes provisions that the half PA Day reserved for health and safety will include training on violent incident reporting, and clarifies funding for occasional teachers to attend the training.
2017 Extension Agreement for Education Workers
Includes provisions that the half PA Day reserved for health and safety will include training on violent incident reporting.
2015 Central Terms for Teachers/OT
Includes a Letter of Agreement “Occasional Teacher Ability to Lock the Classroom Door”.
For the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years, one half of the PA day will be allocated for health and safety training.
The parties reconfirm their intent to participate in the Provincial Health and Safety Working Group to address and implement key recommendations contained in the ETFO MOU Provincial Health and Safety Task Force Report and Recommendations September 2014.
